The assignment for my graphic design class had one rule: every illustration, photo and design had to be original. I spent the semester building it in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Procreate. I made everything from the cover to the department names; only the articles were adapted from existing pieces. For the “Tea Power” feature, I spelled out the headline in real flowers, herbs and a lemon slice, then styled and photographed it myself.
